and Lady Katara Stormwild joyfully anounce their union in holy matrimony.
The radiant couple was joined in a breathtaking handfasting ceremony on the 16th of May at
a magnificent beach overlook. The wedding was attended by many friends and family.
Serving as Maid of Honor was the Lady Berkana, sister of the Bride, who opened the ceremony with the invocation of the gods of Lornon. Serving as Best Man was Lord Dwar, who invoked the gods of Liabo for the ceremony's commencement. The Lady Aeleana and Lord Durgen served as attendants and the young Lady Dakkota, the couples newly adopted daughter, made a charming flowergirl. His Honor, the Lord High Priest Krisenfest presided over the ceremony. The ceremony proceeded with the fasting of the rope about the couples arms, then continued with the lighting of three candles, one to symbolize the Bride, one for the Groom and one to symbolize the union of the two without extinguishing their individuality. The ceremony then moved on to the blessing of the rings in accordance with the four elements to bring the couple, joy, love and fertility. At the reception, held on a perfect white sand beach, the Lady Motherpeace caught the Bride's bouquet and the Lord Jheuwvinial caught the Bride's garter. The Lord Aurec regaled us all with a rendition of the Lusty Month of May and the evening was filled with dancing, merriment and well fed guests! The Newlyweds then went on to a spectacular nearby resort for a glorious honeymoon, before travelling to Teras on a part extended honeymoon, part adventure seeking journey. |

Lord Enegue LionHeart, Lord of the Manor of the Silvergate Inn, and his wife, Lady Brownyng, are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, a son. The parents have chosen to name the child Ilstar, after Lord Enegue's friend and a legendary wizard who no longer dwells in Elanthia. Young Ilstar also has his first weapon.The young LionHeart was born on July 11th, at approximately half past seven in the evening, Elven time. Lady Mistyrose Le'Brat delivered the child during a difficult labour in which the mother passed away. Lady Brownyng was raised from the dead, and both mother and child are now in excellent health. Mother and child will be staying close to the Silvergate for the next few weeks, and the door to the LionHearts' private apartments will be open for visitation whenever the mother is in the Lands. Come and see the LionHeart nursery, and the new little "Prince of Silvergate"! The LionHearts would like to extend their gratitude to Lady Misdy, Lady Cullien and Lady Ylena, who assisted during the birth, and to Dianatrue, who blessed the newborn.) |
